Kevin McArdle released a funky, uptempo version of the song on his "It Ain't Easy Being Me" CD.

A publisher in Nashville had this song held by Restless Heart, Michael Martin Murphy and Dan Seals (of England Dan and John Ford Coley fame). Eventually they all passed on the song. Oh well.
